I waited a considerable amount of time to get bloodwork which never happened. I did not have my ID card and expressed I can send it as soon as I get to my office. I have gone to Paleys office for years. Had multiple conversations that I could send. It did not appear to be a problem. I have had many issues with my prescription not being sent on time each time I called the office and then told me they sending it now while I’m standing at the pharmacy and not having my medication ready and at that point I have to beg for some pills so I can make it through the next day . Today I went to the office and ask why my medication has not been sent in. They couldn’t give me an answer and they were going to send it. Dr P has been my family Doctor for almost 20 Years. Lately he has not been available unless you make an appointment 6 months in advance, then you're lucky if he shows up. I only see him now for bloodwork and physicals. I am currently looking for another doctor. Oh, and don't try and call, no one answers the phone. You have to leave a message and ho one calls you back!
I LOVE Jennifer, one of his nurse practitioners, but omgosh his office staff is RUDE, COLD AND TOTALLY UNCARING. I already have enough stress in my life. Going to the doctor and dealing with his rude staff needs to get out of my life. I guess I'll be switching doctors. ??
Won't speak for Dr Paley himself cause I have not really seen him, but his office staff is terrible. Went in for my annual and they did not inform me it had not been quite a year yet and were trying to charge me for an extra visit when nothing was wrong. Then had my annual bloodwork drawn and got a bill in the mail. They requested things that were not covered in my annual bloodwork. I informed them and they would not work with me at all. Tried him as a GP, but found that he is in essence a pill pusher where minor diet or lifestyle changes would be better suited for patients. He also has no problem in referring you to other specialists who use out of network associates that result in gotcha medical bills.
Dr Paley is an excellent physician and treated my husband for years. We watched his practice flourish and were very satisfied for years until we saw a decline in his staff. His office manager is horrible. When my husband’s insurance went out of network we wanted to pay the higher copay but were informed by the receptionist that the office manager had dropped him. We had issues prior to this with Dr Paley’s staff such as forgetting to do a UA , not returning calls, ect. but we’re willing to overlook in order to continue seein... read more
I've been seeing Dr. Paley for about 6 years. I never have to wait long. There have been times when the office should have called back and didn't, but that's changed for the positive. My health is much improved since seeing him.
Absolutely one of the worst health care experiences ever. The staff is very rude, cold, and uncaring. They stick you in a room after waiting in the waiting room and make you wait some more. Two hours after my scheduled appointment a Nurse Practitioner appeared, not Dr. Paley. The NP wrote a RX for me that wasn't covered by insurance, of course I didn't find that out until I got to the pharmacy. I tried calling to find an alternative and was greeted with condescension and a long hold
