My experience with this Dr can be described as frustrating and that is putting it nicely!! During my only appointment, I had to wait for nearly two hours. I may not be a doctor, but my time is valuable too. Had they at least let me know, I could have notified my place of employment in advance. To make matters worse, no one bothered to come into the room I was waiting in to reassure me that the dr would ever be with me at some point (when it's been over an hour and a half, you start to wonder, "is there even a doctor here?") ... read more
At the Newberg office, where a visit that should have taken 30 minutes took three hours, the staff seemed very stressed and unorganized. They admitted that they double book patients, which adds to the wait time. Further, Dr. Gurdian was incredibly rude and berated his staff outside the (paper thin) closed door, accusing me (the patient) of asking for immediate treatment that I did not request, and that his optometrist likewise verified that I did not ask for. Dr. Gurdian did two surgeries on my somewhat complex eye condition. He was cautious and referred me to a retinal specialist before he started the surgical proceedings, which I appreciated. I can now have 20 20 vision.
