I went to this dentist because it was close to home. I needed a root canal, but never received one even though my insurance approved it. My first visit was a deep cleaning, second visit was a filling (which I’m still in pain and it’s been over 4 months) the dentist wanted to do everything but my root canal. He insisted I call my insurance for approval for something else because they didn’t respond to him. My insurance informed me that he never put in for approval for something else. Dr Makan is a horrible dentist. He ruined my teeth
Over about two years ago, I had my upper left partial crown replaced, when it came back from the lab, it was made wrong, and still he forced it in, I mentioned it to him, he stated it was good. As of today, I’m have problems with that same partial crown. There has been a gap, food enters, now I’m having some pain, possible cavity. This really affected my trust with going to the dentist, we deserve, and pay for the best treatment possible. Shame on you Dr Shah, shame on you.
They’ve been my dentist for years but their booking and scheduling is terrible! They tell you to come to the appointment only to tell you you’re not booked for that day. Made another appointment for the next day when o get there I have to wait 1hr plus… why make an appointment then? They need to get it together.
This is a long review, but it is a truthful, unbiased account based on personal experience: Ever since Dr. Shah left Cozine Dental of the Brooklyn office, that office has gone downhill, especially in the care of Dr. Chris O'Neil, who contributes to the poor setting of the location. The staff is rude, unprofessional and practice poor bedside manner; not all, but most.
