Dr Majmudar called me after my appointment to discuss further treatment
Didn't really u derstand fully about my diagnosis My first time at a neurologist office for myself and I had so many questions. My Dr prescribed Gabapentin which seems to help my weakness and discomfort in my upper legs and I was glad.
I was very pleased. She explained problems I am having. She also said I could now stop 1 medication and explained a couple of side effects I would likely notice as they go away.

Shots were recommended. What will they do for my problem, how many do I need, how many. Side effects, where do I get them?
My husband was with me and we were saying on the way home that she seems truly invested in my health and finding solutions to my problems. She explains all the options open to us, discusses pros and cons, and works with us to make an informed decision. And she never gives us the impression that she's in a hurry to move on.
