I was a patient of his at his other practice and look forward to seeing him at his new office. I had visited a few doctors prior to seeing him years ago and was exhausted from trying different things and not getting good results. Dr. Yu worked with me for months until we found the right solution. Every since - a new woman!
Very professional! I have been seeing Dr. Hua sense 2015 I have a lot of things that need to be fixed bit had to be spread out, he did a 5 hours open back surgery on me and I felt so much better after migraine free and pain in the middle of my back gone. He takes his time and answers all your questions and gives you his honest feed back. He makes sure that you are comfortable about your surgery! Such an AWESOME and educated & knowledge Doctor. I was fortunate to have Dr Hua perform surgery on me around 6 years ago . I would have been permanently disabled if it wasn’t for Dr Hua and highly recommend him as a competent surgeon.
Rude, hasty, unprofessional
Dr. Hua is amazing. I suffered for years with a severe neck problem. He performed my surgery and I've been pain free in my neck for the last 3 years. It's time to have my Low Back surgery, and here I am looking him up again. That should tell you something, because I won't let anyone else cut on me. He did a great job and when he found more problems than anticipated he stayed 9-1/2 hours to make sure he got it done right. I strongly recommend Dr. Hua.
The worst patient service I have ever experienced in my life! The staff never answers the phone and always have an attitude! Two months and counting now and still waiting for a surgery date and when I call his assistant Kate, she has a complete attitude with me and yells at me? Excuse me? How dare you! We are patients trying to get our health problems resolved. If It wast for me constantly calling they wouldn't be doing anything. In order to eliminate the staffing and office issues from offices managed by other groups, Dr. Hua has started his own independent practice as of Feb. 2018. Dr. Hua is now in full control. Though the staff are young, they are enthusiastic about helping patients in every way. Worst patient service I ever experienced from this doctor and staff. His assistants Vanessa/Dawn in Fremont office doesn't answer their phones or returns messages. The doctor doesn't respond his email. I waited over two months for a surgery date, but no one contact me or gives me updates. I found out from another assistant that the doctor is leaving the Fremont office without informing his patients. Very unprofessional.

I had my lumbar fusion surgery done by Dr. Hua 2 weeks ago, it is the dime surgery, once I was awoken from the surgery, I can feel the pinching pain and numbness which stretched from my right bud all the way down to the lower leg had all gone, right now I am pain-free and can walk a mile a day! Thanks for Dr. Hua who has done the amazing surgery!
