I have known Dr. Vanino for 25 years- first as a classmate when earning our doctorates in psychology together and now as a colleague. I refer to her regularly and she is an excellent clinician. Dr. Vanino is bright, engaged, empathic and exceptionally well trained. Though she specializes in trauma, she does great work with clients for a variety presenting complains/struggles. I highly recommend her without reservations!
I shared a very hard sexual assault experience with Sheri during a session. An experience I have carried inside for a long time and haven’t shared with more than two people. I was very vulnerable in my experience and how a current issue was triggering me and bringing back all of those old unresolved feelings.
