i was initially nervous over my first appointment with a cardiologist, but as soon as I checked in Dr. Freeburg and his staff made me feel easy, showed genuine concern for me, and my issues. Personality is a big part of a patient - doctor relationship and we made a connection from the start.
After a lot of test, even a heart catheter, he didn’t even find the problem for why I kept passing out. Glad I got a second opinion from another hospital and better qualified doctor. I now have a pacemaker and will need surgery to fix a heart problem he couldn’t find and I’ve found out isn’t qualified to diagnose or fix.
We were very pleased at his bedside manner had a great personality and told us what we needed to hear not what we wanted to hear. I would recommend him to anyone
Dr. Freeberg and his cath lab team saved my life shortly after daybreak in September of 2020. I had a heart attack from a totally occluded right coronary artery and was stabilized enough at our local E.R. to be flown to Christus Trinity Mother Frances, Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital in Tyler, TX where, unbeknownst to me, Dr. Freeberg and his team awaited my arrival. Dr. Freeberg was very easy to talk to. He had a way of explaining a very complicated situation easily. I went to him for a second opinion about ongoing chest pain. He was able to fix a blockage that I was told was un-fixable and since then have been back to my usual self.
