Very personable and easy to understand
Dr. Dheenan from day 1 years ago made me feel so comfortable while discussing some very significant issues that were rare for someone my age to experience. He really appreciates science and data and allows the science to help guide him in how he treated me. Dr Dheenan was attentive to our urology needs. He definitely got us to where we needed to be. Kidney procedure went well and the follow-up was spot on. Yes, we are happy with Dr. Dheenan.
He misdiagnosed my condition. And when I questioned it he would not accept it. He ordered a catheter to drain my bladder when my bladder didn’t need to be drained. I even went back because nothing was draining and their solution was to put a bigger catheter in. I was in so much unneeded pain and discomfort from this catheter. I went to the ER and was properly diagnosed with a massive cyst that was above my bladder and the catheter was removed.
Dr Dheenan is patient and takes his time with you. He explains things so that you can understand.

I’m a former patient of Dr Zipkin whom has retired. I was directed to see my urologist based on a high psa at my regular Dr’s visit. I saw Dr Dheenan and found him to be an excellent Physician.
