After waiting six months for an appointment, I was informed within the first few minutes of my visit by Dr Soszka that he would no longer be accepting my insurance starting the next day. While I understand and respect his decision, a heads-up prior to my appointment would have been appropriate, as I cannot afford out-of-pocket visits at the moment. I am tired of how conventional medical doctors approach thyroid diseases, so was excited when I found Dr. Soszka and the excellent reviews he has. Unfortunately, I never got to meet him to experience first hand. His website said there were no available appointmemts in the next 6 months and to pick another practioner. There was no one else to pick. I then called and left two detailed messages at different time os the day and received no return calls.
I have been seeing Dr. Shawn Soszka for over 2 years and I have had such a great experience. He takes a lot of time going over your health history and really cares about any symptoms you are dealing with. I am an overweight diabetic who has Interstitial Cystitis, and thyroid/hormonal problems, which are difficult to treat collectively. The customized meal plans, supplements, detailed health summaries, and the option to use telemedicine keep me on the path to good health. Dr. Soszka has been wonderful to work with. I’m always treated with respect and questions are answered and explained in a thorough manner. He works hard to figure out what could be happening and what the best path to take would be for me as an individual. There is no standard treatment for everyone from him because everyone is different just like with any autoimmune disease there is no set list of symptoms. He’ll never give up on you.
