Since Hebrew Center bought out Hebrew Home, the elevator is often out of service for weeks at a time in multi storied buildings for patients with mobility issues. There's also been a tremendous decrease in the staff-to-patient ratio. Last year, patients and residents were brought outside and encouraged to socialize. Since there are now so few staff, residents and patients sit in front of tvs and are prepared for bed at 6 pm.
