After we (calmly) questioned the necessity of running a test a second time, Dr. Smith threatened to call CPS on us and said that my husband and I were free to leave the hospital, but that she would keep our newborn baby there and not let him leave with us. Our conversation went from civil to her shouting at us and not taking responsibility for the nurses who messed up the test and left vomit in our baby's throat for him to choke on.
