I've been seeing Dr. Patterson over several years and he is awesome. Of all the OMM providers I have been to over the years, I prefer his style of technique the most-- he is very attuned and strong, and he does the physical alignment by assisting your body to correct itself, so it lasts longer than just chiropractic-type adjustments (from my experience with both). I started with Dr. Patterson in May of 2025. My pain doctor referred him. I worked in a bakery for 45 years and abused my body by using of every ounce of energy, daily. I retired at 57, time to put myself back together. After 3 knee surgeries +3 replacements, Cervical Fusion 3-7, Head tilted slightly to one side, stuck, headaches, left bicep shredded, wrist stuck, Issues in Lumbar Spine L4/5 that affects my foot/leg. Dr. Patterson was genuinely terrible at diagnosing my degenerative condition. He was very condescending and demeaning. Choosing his practice was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I went to him for about six years and he did not diagnose my severe cervical myelopathy. Instead, he made fun of me for using a cane and told me and not so many words that I was faking it. Dr. Patterson helped me with my left sciatic pain, it went away after 3 treatments......he knows how to manipulate your body back into its proper alignment......I was totally against seeing him, went to spine clinic at Michigan.....MRI, the injection test hurt so bad.....at one point I could not sit or lay.....reluctantly I saw Doc P.......please don't be afraid, he will NOT hurt you.
I had a very disappointing experience with the front office over the phone. Initially, I was told Dr. Patterson was out of network, but after confirming with my insurance that he is indeed covered, I called back to update them. Unfortunately, I was transferred to someone (Brandy?) who was dismissive, spoke over me repeatedly, and became confrontational when I tried to explain mu situation - she even raised her voiced and ultimately hang up on me….
