Overall I like the care I get from Dr Kapadia when in an appointment, however, there are a few downsides which is why I don’t recommend the practice. First, I have never waited less than an hour after my scheduled appointment time. They should remember my time is also important. Second, communication, when not in the office, is difficult to impossible. You are first routed to a call center in India that really isn’t able to effectively help with your request. Dr Kapadia is so friendly and makes me feel confident that he will help solve my heart problems. I love how he kept saying, don’t worry I got you! :)
Dr. Kapadia is a very good doctor a very good cardiologist he cares about his patience he makes you feel comfortable. He talks to you. You’re not just a number he cares I suggest anybody who’s looking for a good cardiologist to look up James River cardiology and go see Dr. Kapadia. He actually gave me a PET scan on my heart and he did a diaper on my legs which found a leak in my vein without him I would’ve never known he’s the best.
He’s still young but he’s been my Cardiologist for many many years. Despite my a-fib and other cardiac-related issues, he’s always had things completely in control with no incidences. He always has a wonderfully positive attitude when he enters the room. He keeps me going strong!

I was seen immediately. I was seen by Dr Kapadia. He was concerned about my visit to hospital due to chest pain pain. He made appointment for next weeks test.
This was my first visit with Dr. Kapadia. He entered the room, introduced himself, and shook my hand.His conversational style of discussing my serious medical issues put me right at ease.
Very personable, Attentive, Caring, takes his time with patient, Instills Confidence in his abilities.
Failed to send through paperwork on my mother’s surgery and did not adequately clear her in advance. This led to her having significant complications and passing.
