After many specialist, surgeries and procedures, I finally have a diagnosis. I went to see Dr. Sheikh, with little hope, expecting to get the same answers. In 15 minutes, he diagnosed me. I was seriously skeptical. He ordered test and went in to double check to be sure. And he was absolutely right. I am truly grateful that I saw him. Having answers makes it easier to adapt. My husband and I are, both, very grateful.

My mother was his patient for years. The day he told her he was retiring she cried. He always asked about our other family members; he is very knowledgeable; sincere; and charismatic. He literally saved her life. I don’t know about these negative comments. But if someone isn’t your cup of tea it doesn’t mean she or he is a bad doctor. Maybe you don’t understand his or her intent or meaning. I have been Dr. Sheikh’s patient for 21 years. He’s the only doctor, out of 10 or more, who was able to diagnose my condition. He’s the most knowledgeable, direct, personable doctor I’ve ever known. I drive 4&1/2 hrs to see him because he’s the only doctor I trust with my health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sheikh’s for more than 20 years. He is thorough, knowledgeable, approachable, always answers questions, and just all around an excellent doctor. He is straight forward and not without a sense of humor. If you are looking for someone who can treat you with knowledge, experience, and compassion, this is where you want to be.

I have a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy every year or two ( I had this done today,also) due to past health problems and my family history. I feel that Dr. Sheikh has saved my life twice and I owe him a lot. He is so knowledgeable and he will send you to the best surgeon if needed. I think he is brilliant and I just hope he doesn’t retire for a very long time. My family sees him, too, and they love him. We are so blessed to have him at AnMed!!! Thank you Dr. Sheikh and the friendly staff at Upstate Endoscopy ??

have always really like DR Sheikh something has happen to him has become rude and hard to get a answer from and the lady out front it very rude and they will not answer that phone --looking for another dr now--I had always bragged about how good a doctor he was and other people would say bad things I guess I am seeing that person now very sad

I have been treated by Dr Sheikh for almost 10 years, both for routine colonoscopy and more serious problems. He has a great bedside manor and is very good about explaining what the problems are and the solutions needed to fix it. He has also treated my husband and other family members. Like most Drs now there is an automated phone system

While I got an appointment fast , theDoctor Sheikh was extremely rude " y did u come here" I live in ananderson" and " what do u want me to do". I was crying in pain, been throwing up, diharreha , no strenght. His answer an xray. No follow up. Im'as sick now if not more so now. I found another Doctor after i went to emergency room. If u like nothing donne, and a rude Doctor he is ur doctor..
