i’ve been going here for about 13 years; even had my braces done here when i was in middle school. i just had two fillings done in under 20 minutes. dr cheung is very quick & efficient & communicates clearly what needs to be done. since i’ve started paying for my own appointments, ive also noticed the cost is amazing for the service provided. he may not be the most personable dentist but he seriously knows what he’s doing & that’s all you can really ask for in a dentist. i will continue to be a returning client!

My whole family used to visit Dr. SF Cheung for annual tooth cleanings many years ago. However, that's no longer the case. I'd like to share my past experience, even though it was some time ago. I had been going for annual cleanings and check-ups with Dr. Cheung, and was never informed of any tooth decay until the very last year's checkup. 来多伦多一段时间了，无处不在的人性化和包容体现了这座城市的优秀。但是，这两天孩子突然牙痛，来到日康齿科看牙的经历给我留下了完全不同的印象。由于出身医学家庭，自幼便知，为医者，最重要是仁心仁术，而仁心则为仁术的立足之本。短短一次就诊，我无法判断该诊所当天主诊医生技术如何，但其居高临下的沟通方式让我自始至终都感觉自己是个犯人，而不是患者。仅仅因为挤脓肿，从小一直很坚强的15岁的男孩子，痛到崩溃从诊室夺门而出，哭得一把鼻涕一把泪，找爸爸要止痛药（而不是主诊医生或护士）。相关医生也只是后来在我给孩子吃完自己带来的止痛药，哄孩子时，才推门探头冷冰冰问了一句：要不要打一针止痛药。然后呯然关门回屋了。等等这些场景让我脑中既有的”医者仁心”, “医学关怀”这些词语荡然无存。希望该医生当天可能只是因为自己当时心情临时不好才这样做为，不是一贯如此，更不是针对我们。也希望此番经历不代表多伦多牙科医疗的普遍水平。更希望该诊所相关主诊医生，工作之余能静下心思考一下为医之本，努力提升自身素质。其实，我感觉，在为人处事相互尊重和有同理心方面，他若能躬身向自己诊所的前台接待和助理学习一下，也一定会有长足进步。
