I've been a patient of Dr. Kates for many years for many different skin issues and he's an amazing doctor. Besides being very talented, he's a very kind man and really cares. He's the best. I'm a Registered Nurse so I'm very fussy about my medical care. I am confident in everything Dr. Kates suggests or does.
I am writing this review because I want to personally thank Dr. Kates for his quick availability & readily providing treatment. I developed severe, red facial inflammation due to an allergic reaction. Dr. Kates prescribed a cream, & assured me that I would be fine in a few days. Within 1.5 days, my facial swelling was gone. It was a frightening experience for me, & I am grateful for Dr. Kates’ expertise.
I was a patient of Dr. Kates for several years. From 2021-2023 he ignored a lesion over my left eyebrow even after I pointed it out to him at my annual skin checks. He was aware of my family history of melanoma and personal history of basal cell carcinoma. He dismissed it as nothing to worry about, yet noted it on my chart as a 'new, red lesion.' I've been going to doctor kates for close to 15 years. I have NEVER had a bad experience!! The ladies in front are always friendly and work diligently to assist me with any of my needs. I am able to get appointments in a timely manner always! He is always amazing, friendly,kind and an artist at what he does! HE NEVER does any work on me just for the money! He's honest and just simply a gem!!!
