Dr. Besilu enters the examining room, aware of my health status, test results, and history. He is also very concerned about making me optimally functional. I trust him completely and will comply with his instructions (a big issue between me and doctors) because he has proven that he understands my health and knows his field.
Arrogant, dismissive, ineffective, perhaps lazy
Dr. Besliu is a gem! I have been seeing him for over 5 years and he has never have any negative bedside manner. He is always so attentive to my needs and we discuss solutions. I will always want Dr. Besliu as my Neurologist. He is amazing!
Dr Besliu is AWESOME! He has been very attentive to me and my migraine issues for many years now. He listens very closely to my needs and I value his opinion. Dr. Besliu is an outstanding diagnostician and care giver. He is highly involved in his patient's overall condition with all its complexities, as well as extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He has treated both me and my wife, and in her case he was the one to diagnose a subtle auto-immune condition (outside of his declared specialty) which eluded all other specialists up to that point. I was taken aback by his utter lack of bedside manner. I can't say I've ever encountered someone quite so rude and arrogant in the medical community. He didn't take time to understand my migraine, I had to stop him from discussing treatment to explain my condition. I thought perhaps he was having a bad day until I read the other reviews on here. He criticized the treatment modality I was previously prescribed by another doctor (in same medical complex) and scolded my like a child for following their directions. It felt like ... read more
Very pleased! Could not be more pleased. Show concern and compassion for me as a patient! Exam very thorough, took the time to answer my questions and provide explanations clearly. My previous neurologist moved to another state without referring his patients to a new doctor. I did my research & found Neuroscience Associates. I was truly blessed to find Dr. Besliu! From the time that you check in you are treated with the utmost respect & attention. Dr. B cares about his patients answering any & all questions. I would one hundred times over recommend him!
I have been going to Dr. Besliu for over two years. I have been going to neurologists for over 30 years for the treatment of migraines. He was the first doctor to tell me I was over using meds. He has given me alternatives to think about with the associated costs as well as risks. Dr. Besliu knows ME. Not all doctors remember you from visit to visit. He has called me at home on two occasions. He listens. When I try something and it doesn't work, he listens to me.
