I fought knee pain for ten years. Doctor Kachar explained how much has changed since then with the knee replacement and procedure. I had both my knees replaced, right on 7/3 and the left on 9/10. Surgery went exactly as he explained. Doctor Kachar took time to answer my questions about post care and what to expect during recovery. I'm sleeping without pillows under my knees and not taking any teynol PM to get to bed. His staff was great to work with and I would highly recommend them!

Extremely qualified, did for me what most ortho surgeries take weeks to recover. It's been 13 days since knee replacement and saw him for the second (and final) time today. Took a shower when I got home following surgery, he provided in home therapy, this is my last day! Have already scheduled the 2nd knee replacement for early next month. Personable, great surgeon. Happy to sign my name, Ronald Armstrong

I spent almost 2 hours waiting to see the doctor. His nurse is the most unfriendly and disrespectful nurse I have ever seen. After 2 hours of waiting I got frustrated and left without having an honor to see such important and busy doctor. If you respect yourself and your time stay away from his office.

I hobbled into Dr. Kachar’s office in pain and very concerned. He is professional and totally reassuring. My arthroscopic surgery went as he said it would. That I would walk out of surgery. I’m walking and have had no pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kachar. His entire office is efficient and welcoming. The wait times for my appointments have been minimal.

Dr. Kachar replaced my left hip 6 weeks ago in out patient surgery- I was home by 3pm, walking on crutches for the first week, a cane for the 2nd and have been walking unaided since. I feel good and the hip feels natural. I expect to be back to full strength and sports activities in the next month. Sergey is a consummate professional and I highly recommend him and his team, as well as the fine staff at NWCH.

Dr Kachar performed a partial knee replacement on me in June 2018. The procedure went extremely well and I was very impressed with how well he worked with me as a patient. I would definitely recommend Dr Kachar to anyone looking to do this procedure in the future.

Had both hips replaced and I can't say enough about Dr. Kachar's professionalism, expertise, patience, and staff. So grateful for the two nurses who referred me to him, knowing his work. Both hips done on an outpatient basis, which was fabulous. I love Dr. Kachar's patient demeanor and careful explanation of procedures, plus giving me his utmost attention until I had no other questions. Absolutely highly recommend Dr. Kachar for hip replacements.
