Cooling only reached main room. Rear duct was disconnected. Reattached and sealed with mastic. All rooms now receive cold air.
AC leaked from air handler. Drain pan had cracked. Replaced pan and cleared blockage. No more water leaks.
Furnace ran too long and overheated the room. Thermostat calibration was off. Recalibrated and now temperature control is accurate and balanced.
Cooling felt weak on top floor. Added booster fan to duct line. Upper level now gets the same strong cooling as the rest of the home.
Heat pump froze over during winter. Defrost cycle wasn’t triggering. Technician replaced defrost board. System now defrosts properly and heating is stable in cold weather.
