I had surgery on both of my feet with Dr. Parekh and will probably never be ok. My feet are worse now than before surgery and will need another surgery to hopefully provide some relief.
He was my little angel. I started off with avascular necrosis (dead bone) of my talus bone and bad osteoarthritis from a previous ankle surgery from an accident. I had been to 6 different places for consults (including Hopkins) prior to Dr. Parekh. Each had worse and worse options for me. Hopkins wanted to amputate.. One of the best doctors in the world. He and his team took care of my fractured foot in hours and I am amazed at the compassionate follow up. Truly the best of the best! Highly recommend!!
Phenomenal Surgeon! Performed surgery on my foot which had torn ligaments! Was back to Hot Yoga within 4 months of surgery! It has now been nearly 2 years and no issues whatsoever! He is so highly revered that he is performing foot surgery (due to severe RA) on my Mom next week! Great bedside manner. I recruited surgeons for 10 yrs professionally, so don't give 5 stars lightly!
I ruptured my peroneal tendon 8 years ago and he was amazing throughout the whole experience! I went to a surgeon prior to seeing Dr. Parekh at a different hospital and that surgeon made it sound as if I would never be able to run or ride horses (my number one passion and how I ruptured it) again unless I wanted to re rupture or tear the tendon.
