Dr. Dar did my colonoscopy. She talked to me before and after the procedure. She answered all of my questions and made sure I was satisfied with the answers. I had NO PROBLEMS using this doctor.
I found more help in her PA than in anyone else there but I had to go several times to find the issue. But the PA found I had gall bladder disease. Susan was very thorough. Dr. Dar was very impersonal, very short and is quick to give pills. She does the procedures well enough but IT IS like herding cattle. My last visit I was getting worse and they could not figure out what was wrong. They scared the heck out of me that my stomach looked terrible and she offered me more pills. Have been treated by Dr. Seema Dar for 3 yrs for gastro illness. She was compassionate, listened to me, had great bedside manner. Explained test results to me and answered questions. Often had to wait a long time to be seen for appts; however, she took my concerns seriously and treated me well. The balance was worth it for me. Will continue to see her. Have seen the PA before, but prefer Dr. Dar.
The WORST experience with a dr I've ever had. I was warned by my PCP not to go to her, but my father has seen her for years w/only good experiences. Went with my father's recommendation. Big mistake!!! I was already dismissed by my surgeon after his mess-up & then saw the Nurse Practitioner in Dr Dar's office after waiting 20 minutes for the front desk girl to finish her conv b4 checking me in, NP agreed w/me I needed an ERCP. 1 day later I called the office bc of the excruciating pain & was told no1 was in (Spring Break). 2... read more
Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, RUN! Her and her staff are rude and unethical! Was put through several painful, expensive procedures, and then once they couldn't diagnose me with Crohn's, I was basically told, well, we can't figure out your problem, move a long, we can make no more money off of you! ****s! And don't bother trying to ever get any information out of her or her office, even though YOU are the patient, you are not worth her time.
Dr.Dar exhibits an aloof, supercilious manner. She seems to be in the medical profession solely for the money. She schedules procedure after procedure,first telling the patient they have one ailment,then retracting what she says after the next procedure, only to go back to what she originally diagnosed. Everything she says is veiled in ambiguity and spoken behind a condescending smile. The technical skills of Dr Dar are unparalled I was afraid of Colonoscopy but it was done without any discomfort and saved my Life. She's the best
Never get call backs on tests unless you hound them. Not friendly on phone or in person. The staff needs to have classes in public relations. I will never go back to this office there are too many other doctors out there who are caring.With the price of Health Care we deserve better.
It took 2 weeks to get the correct paperwork done for medication SHE prescribed. I was in pain after a routine procedure and was blown off by her and her staff when I called for advice. The pain eventually led to an emergency room visit. I refuse to see her again. Her PA was nice and sympathetic, but the office as a whole was a terrible experience. I would NOT recommend their services.
