The third time seeing him and he thought I was a new patient. He went from saying I had issues he had concern with, to the last appointment not knowing who I was and saying I’m at the wrong doctor, that I need a pain specialist. Not recommended.
If I could give Dr. Esmende and his team 10 stars, I absolutely would. After having battled terrible pain for over 10 years and every treatment, injection, etc. imaginable, I was so relieved when Dr. Esmende said there was a surgery that could relieve my pain and give me a new lease on life. At only 26 and having been dealing with this daily pain since high school, you have no idea how relieved I was to hear that. In my experience the doctor does NOT even show up to appointments (I went to 3) and instead delegates everything to a couple assistants who could never provide me with straight answers or usually even verbal responses, shrugs and head nods are the majority of the feedback I received. I scheduled an appointment with a new doctor only for that doctors office to call me back and explain that Esmende blacklists ALL PATIENTS from EVER seeing any other doctor besides himself in OAH
