I thank Dr. Esmende for giving me my life back! Having had a laminectomy and spinal fusion, my recovery has been benign and uneventful. I take absolutely nothing for pain anymore. I am absolutely thrilled with my outcome!
Just had a laminectomy and spinal fusion performed by Dr. Esmende. He has has been excellent. Great bedside manners, thorough, treated me and with respect. Also, never pushed surgery first. I went through 2 yrs. of PT and injections. He talked me through it all. It wasn't until I told him I was ready for surgery that he then explained very patiently what it would entail. Highly recommend him.
The third time seeing him and he thought I was a new patient. He went from saying I had issues he had concern with, to the last appointment not knowing who I was and saying I’m at the wrong doctor, that I need a pain specialist. Not recommended.
