I'm still trying to forget the horrible experience here with Dr Deitch many years ago. He misdiagnosed my dislocated shoulder and discharged me with it still being dislocated! (Id been laying in the room there for many many hours in pain with no one coming to check on me and finally some women brought an x-ray machine in and were having difficulties taking the x-ray). Very nice & efficient Dr. He was able to give me a cortisone injection to help with debilitating sciatica pain, as I was not able to see my regular Dr. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time, too. Best ER & great Dr.
Was treated by Dr. Deitch at Scripps and he was knowledgeable efficient fast and caring. I trusted in his ability and he saved my work slash vacation. He was exactly what an ER doctor should be. Straight forward direct knowledgeable kind and fast.
The worst ER Docter this nurse has encountered ! I was brought to the Hospital after being newly diagnosed with Afib ...I needed wheelchair assistance ..My heartrate was 110 & had been 120 at rest ...I'm 62 & have never gone to an ER feeling like I was dying ....My Friend who is also nurse brought Me in ...I had been home & was deteriorating daily ...I knew as She did I'd die if I stayed home...I went from 132 to 121 in 10 days ...I couldn't breathe never mind eat !
