"My son 17 year old recently underwent an extraction procedure at Dr. Godoff's office, and I am deeply concerned about the care he received. Despite being in excruciating pain, my son was not provided with sufficient pain medication. He was visibly distressed, begging the staff to stop the procedure, yet they continued. As a result, my son's eyes were so swollen from crying and screaming while terrorized, and his blood pressure was abnormally high. TERRIBLE DOCTOR REFUSES SERVICE DO NOT GO HERE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. This doctor refused service because my wife did not do a follow up appointment where they did not want to bill out dental insurance they wanted to bill our medical which of course a dental procedure is not covered under medical it’s covered under dental insurance. They wanted us to pay $5,000 up front before the procedure. I’m reporting this Dentist to the Virginia Dental Board!!!
This is my second visit to Dr. Goodove's office, fourteen years ago, to get a wisdom tooth extracted and recently I was referred to Dr. Goodove by my dentist to get two more wisdom teeth extracted. Each time I visited this office I had a very pleasant experience. Dr. Goodove is an "Outstanding" dental surgeon who is kind and very professional and very good at what he does, he constantly communicated with me during the surgery to let me know what he was doing.
