Terrible patient manners Did not listen well Bordered on being rude.
I was nervous heading into the process. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Knappenberger from my initial consultation to the septoplasty itself and follow-up. Dr. Knappenberger shared: 1. Why my condition was a problem (deviated septum) 2. What could have caused the problem 3. How the problem was impacting my overall health 4. I took my 18 month old daughter to see Dr. Knappenberger for the first time for a consult on getting tubes in her ears. He was very professional and took his time with her. My daughter let him look in her ears without hesitation. Dr. K made sure that I was fully informed about the process and what to expect. After she had her hearing test he came back to verify that I had not thought of any other questions. I will be referring everyone to him.
Dr. Knappenberger was very professional. Very pleasant. He was very thorough in the examination and explaining cause of my problems and treatment.
I saw him in May of 2017. He was no friendly at all and suggested a procedure I wasn't even having an issue with. Why do you hire doctors like this??
Very rude. Told me a condition that I had been diagnosed by another ENT could not be. Because it wasn't cut, dry and very textbook it couldn't be that. Reading up on my condition by the foundation says that 40% of people do not have the textbook symptoms. Because of other autoimmune issues I have, I have never been textbook. He needs to go back to school and learn his craft and how to be polite.
This doctor is the reason why I've hated doctors for so long. He was very rude and everything that seemed to be bothering me wasn't a concern for him because I may have sleep apnea. The problems I'm having have nothing to do with if I'm getting enough sleep or not. I don't get enough sleep BECAUSE of these problems that he just decided weren't important. What was important was bashing me about be overweight and that's why I was having my throat issues. Very disappointed I wasted my time!!
I was very thankful for the service he gave to me (removing polyps) but his friendliness towards patients in non-existent. Very dry cut guy and can be rude at times... wouldn't recommend for children.
Had Endoscopic Sinus Surgery 8/23/16 to correct and open blockage from another ENT's work from 15 months prior. Dr. Scott Knappenberger was completely thorough, accurate, offers options, up front about recoup time and process. He and his staff kept in contact with me after the surgery to ensure I was doing well. Wish every physician was like him!!
