She is a APRN a Nurse Practitioner and by Louisiana Law must not USE DR in her title without NP or DNP after her name in any and all public listing and advertising. Its a clear law.
She's new to my clinic but Dr. Scharmaine is a great PCP, She has lowered my glucose levels to normal ranges, I've have 3 other PCP's that Where M.D.'s that couldn't get me the right medications to lower my sugar levels, Thanks Dr. Lawson-baker......
DNP Lawson-Baker did not return calls or emails regarding my elderly mother who was her patient this past year. DNP Baker's office was useless in responding to requests and when I changed doctor's and requested that my Mother's records be forwarded to her new physician I again received no response. I documented all this unprofessional behavior to her and her office and, once again, heard nothing back from her or her staff. Avoid this practice.
