I met Sarah because I needed emergency surgery. I had three failed spinal fusion surgeries and was so septic they said I was going to die- three days later I met Sarah to discuss my surgery and that I realistically had no chance of surviving but since I had hung in she felt that I could survive and proceeded with surgery that was more than 10 hours and I came home paralyzed. Dr. Sarah Woodrow, a neurosurgeon in Summit County, Ohio performed a difficult and risky surgery on my upper spine. I am very impressed with her expertise, skill, and bedside manner. She is a straight shooter, and explains things thoroughly, while in a way that you can understand. Her suture skills are impressive. Wanted to share that this woman is phenomenal. I was in so much pain and they worked with me fast and with so much care and respect. Her and her team are absolutely awesome. Nurses surgical team and the office workers as well, quick to respond to calls and messages. Never wanted back surgery again but Dr Woodrow took me on and did my surgery. Forever grateful. Excellent surgeon. Honest and caring. Recommend as 10 stars.
Dr. Woodrow is absolutely awesome. She and her staff are very professional and courteous. My back is now pain free and I really can't say enough good things about her. If you are considering back surgery she should be your doctor.
