Very disappointed. Make sure to ask upfront what is covered by your insurance and what is not. At my second appointment, the front desk and Dr. Sara Brooks told me they had made an error by charging me a co‑pay on my first visit which would imply running it through my medical insurance. Because of that, I reasonably assumed the second visit would be processed through insurance. It was not. At this point, a line needs to be drawn. AKILAH’s conduct was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. She approached me with an attitude, spoke to me disrespectfully, and raised her voice during our interaction. When I cautioned her about the way she was speaking to me, her response was, “You don’t tell me how to talk to you.” That behavior is unacceptable in any professional setting, especially in healthcare. Excellent dermatologist … Knowledgeable, efficient and extremely personable
Sara Brooks is so bright and talented, she outshines all other docs I see. She is also a wonderful human being. Both my husband and I have seen her for years and wouldn't see anyone else unless she kicked us out! My brother was a topnotch derm and I trusted him implicitly not only for derm issues. He was just an overall genius and also a truly devoted doc and beyond upstanding person. I can't find words for how much I loved and trusted him.
