Dr. Hasan treated me for a disc bulge (L5-S1) that was pressing against the nerve from my lower back to my foot. It was the most excruciating pain I've ever had. Review is for September 20, 2024. On August 15, 2024, I left work early and by that night I was in the ER room--pain was excruciating, worse pain I've had in my life. My back never hurt. It was my left leg. I couldn't walk for a week, then after I walked wobbly. I did my own research and found Dr. Hasan. Earlier this month I had back surgery with Dr Hassan and the results were amazing. I have been suffering back pains for years and was afraid to have back surgery. I was referred to Dr Hasan as a second opinon. After years of seeing back doctors, Dr Hasan said he can fix my problem and most importanltly he could do it arthroscopically. It was out patient surgery and I was up and about immediately. My only restriction is that I can't play golf for about six weeks.
I interviewed three surgeons before selecting Dr Hasan. He clearly explained endoscopic spine surgery. I looked at the videos of his presentations at medical conferences. One showed the surgery I was about to have. Seeing that he is also an educator, I was comfortable choosing him. He has a good bedside manner, and he answered all my questions. The surgery was successful. The pain is gone, and I am able to walk and stand without pain.
