Went to him for about 8 months and it was an absolute nightmare. Never took the time to get to know my situation, more often than not he'd have the students run the appointment, seemed to get irritated and raised his voice if I answered something in a way he didn't like. My final straw was finding out he had prescribed me an antipsychotic for sleeping trouble without telling me he had. I was referred to Dr Gupta for ECT treatments. Unfortunately, Dr Gupta does not feel it necessary to inform his patients of their many risks, DESPITE HIS LEGAL OBLIGATION TO DO SO. There is a full list of known adverse reactions associated with the very same ECT machine used by Gupta. All this info has been updated and available since 2018 These risks include brain injury, general motor dysfunction, amongst many more debilitating and permanent effects.
