My son is prone to getting minute holes in his retina. Dr Mehta takes her time with him and is very quick to send him to the retinologist for repairs. The retinologist is always amazed at what she is able to pick up. A delay in identifying these holes could be disastrous for my son’s vision.
The most thorough and caring physician I have had. I had been seeing an optometrist who told me that my reduced vision was due to "diabetes". Dr. Mehta found an epiretinal membrane and referred me to a retinal surgeon.
Dr. Mehta is very thorough. She is one of the few ophthalmologists who does refraction herself! I have a tough situation with astigmatism and presbyopia and problems working at a computer and she was able to find a custom solution for me. Very happy.!
Caring and thorough. Does most of the exam herself instead of relying on techs.
