Fantastic care from Dr. Samuel Wang late July 2024 with emergency permanent pacemaker implantation.Cordial, caring, punctual and highly skilled. Thank you very much.
I was referred to Dr. Wang to consult for a possible ablation to treat my afib. He explained the procedure and its pros and cons in detail and in a clear and understandable way. Dr. Wang answered all my questions and got me set up to be able to get the procedure when available. That being said, the ablation procedure room at Kaiser is being repaired, so I'm on a waiting list. I appreciate Dr. Wang and his team being direct in describing this delay and my options so I know what to expect.
Not personable and doesn’t seem to care about patients. He doesn’t do any follow up appointments after a procedure. The worst cardiologist
I submitted an email to Dr. Wang, my cardiologist, on January 5 and haven't heard back from him yet. I called his office a week later, January 12 and the receptionist said that someone would call me back. It is January 17 and I still haven't heard from him. Usually, when a doctor is too busy they have a nurse email/call back. My first encounter with Dr. Wang was not pleasant. Sam Wang was my heart doctor for 10 years. He performed ablation surgery on me in 2013 and I saw him 4-5 in the next 7 years. Recently I had an rhythm problem and called to make an appointment with him. I was told he moved to Hawaii and was no longer there. No other doctors could see me for 2 months and I was left high and dry. He should have contacted every one of his patients and told them he was leaving so we could find a new doctor if we had future problems.
