Worst dr appt in my life. The resident was rude and didn't care about answering my Questions. Resident was more concerned about rushing to do what he had to do. Was really scary as they didn't seem to have knowledge to give me much information. Dr Szomstien only came in for 3 mins and most of that time I felt he didn't respect my concerns, couldn't provide explanation, didn't console and I felt he was arguing with me most of the 3 minutes he came to see me.
Dr. Szomstein is the best. I just reached my 12th year as a post bariatric patient, and Dr. Szomstein and his staff are the best. Not only did he perform my surgery, which took me from 328 lbs. to 140 lbs., he also saved my life two weeks later. I've had appointments with him throughout the years, and I can assure you that if bariactric surgery is something you're contemplating, he's the one. I can assure you that this surgery, is no "quick fix", but you're in the best of hands. W. Cooper
