I was recommended to Dr. Samuel Jean after an auto accident and was so glad I came. He was so informative and took the time to listen. After his assessment we agreed upon the right course of action. Ida Nunez the front receptionist has been such a helpful and pleasant person to work with from my appointments to my insurance billing. He's more interested in his automobile crash patients. Saw him because someone recommended him. I needed important & timely referrals that my former PCP had. I'm in tremendous need of back & pelvis surgery. The referral process had to be redone with his name on them. He said he'd have it done in 2 weeks. It's going on 3 weeks & he has yet to get my records from my neurosurgeon and it looks like I'll never get the surgery I desperately need. Unbelievable just how little he cares.
Dr Jean is very compassionate and warm. He has called me back after hours when I was concerned about a lab result. On a recent hospitalization he called the Hospitalist to discuss my treatment plan and to expedite my release. He will work you into his busy schedule if you have an urgent concern. He’s a great gp.
He has been my doctor for three years. I find him to be knowledgeable, professional and personable. He doesn’t hesitate to sit down with you and discuss a problem. He gives you the info about your health, his recommendations, and together you decide on a course of action. I have the utmost respect and faith in the care of Dr. Jean! Oh, and he has been my 98 y/o mom’s doctor for a year, and she has received the same personalized care and treatment with ultimate respect!
The doctor is fine, but office staff has issues. They never answer the phone and when you leave a message( which I have done 3 times) they never return your call.
They never pick up the phone when you call and your Message to schedule an appointment or questions on a bill are never returned. I have a bill four a double billing which I previously paid that I have been disputing for 6 months. I have brought them all my statements showing payments and yet I still receive the bill in the mail. Doc is fine but staff is incompetent
Very rude, little care or concern for patients. Nightmare for referrals.
Dr Jean is a very personable and informed doctor.. I wish I could say the same for his office staff. The office is not knowledgeable and does not appear to be very caring. Time to clean house with the staff. Get organized.
