I recently had eye surgery performed by Dr Seltzer on two separate occasions. He removed cataracts from both my eyes and replaced my natural lenses so I could see once again. I found the doctor to be very caring and professional, and both surgeries went extremely well with no complications. His staff are top-notch and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable before each procedure; they were all welcoming and personable. Samuel E. Seltzer, MD allowed me to wake up during cataract surgery. I do not know why he allowed me to do this. Seriously, I could have broken a bone (my back) when I jerked up during the procedure. It was a very violent experience. One that I will not forget. I was lucky. I want everyone to know their risk with Dr. Seltzer. Good luck.
