I wish I had found Dr. Patel sooner - before being misdiagnosed by several physicians and at several ER visits. He was knowledgeable and kind and was the first doctor that really heard me.
I was told by Dr. Patel that I would be admitted to labor and delivery upon arrival since he knew we traveled from over an hour and a half away. I was in labor, consistently dilating for over 30 hours and he didn’t allow me to be admitted until I was 5 cm. He then stated in our follow up “when I did your c section” as if he did the surgery when it was actually another Dr who did it.
