This woman should not be practicing psychiatry, or any medicine really. She was cruel and cold when my family member went to see her for severe depression and suicidal ideation. This is the last person you should go see if you’re experiencing a mental health crisis.
She has been very helpful and has allowed me to move in the right directions for my mental wellbeing
I saw this doctor many years ago and never got to share a review, so here it is. Dr. Hasan was extremely rude and unempathetic. I had only seen her for a short while and was explaining to her that I was having a difficult time with trying so many different medications that she was giving me because of the severe side effects. Seemed like enjoys talking with the patient. A lot of psychs don’t. She is straightforward and gives you info so you know what she is willing to do and prescribe involving your treatment.
My intake with Dr.Hasan was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. She was completely devoid of any compassion. Asking “whats wrong with you” and saying “if you aren’t at school or work what could you have to be stressed about”. She often interrupted me after asking questions, not letting me finish explaining my own symptoms.
