Top notch surgeon and human! Dr. Parascandola performed a significant hernia repair. He explained every single step to me, contacted my prior surgeon (hernia resulted from prior surgery), and provided superior post-op care. He is empathetic and patient. I work in Healthcare and have never met a more conscientious provider. I recommend him without one reservation.
Dr. Parascandola did a total thyroidectomy on me. I have a family history of thyroid cancer/problems. The doctor and staff were very understanding and empathetic with my situation, along with my personal anxiety about hospitals and doctors in general. I have never had surgery before in my life and hospitals give me cabin fever. My surgery went well and he removed lemon sized growths from my neck. I already feel much better, my head and back of my neck do not hurt as much. Excellent doctor.
Gall Bladder Removal - He was very thorough on the front end to make sure taking the gall bladder out was the best option. Once a decision was made, the process was easy and made me feel confident in the procedure. 2 weeks post op and my results have been about as good as I have heard. I would highly recommend him.
