I arrived for my annual appointment today, June 4, 2026, only to find the office door locked with a sign reading Dr. Malik decided to close his Liberty office effective February 28, 2026. What?! His office did not contact me to alert me to this fact and let me know I would need to make arrangements for another neurologist! Very inconsiderate. I recall I notice in his office that if patients do not call to cancel their appointments 24 hours in advance they will be charged $20.00. So will he send me payment for my time?

Do not go here. The receptionist was extremely rude to my grandmother who was just trying to make an appointment WITH A REFERRAL. How dare you employ people who treat someone elderly with such disdain when they are already going through something which is why they need the appointment in the first place.

Dr. Malik is an outstanding neurologist. He diagnosed my father when several other neurologists were unable to do so. His knowledge, thorough approach, and clinical insight are remarkable.

I have been seeing Dr. Malik for over a year now... Things were going fine up until 6 months ago. He was late to my appt. Yes, that's right. He was the one over 30 mins. Late to the appt. Still went ahead with check up. He had ordered x-ray and emg on my lower back and legs plus start me on 2 new temporary meds for inflammation. ( I have fibromyalgia) Well for 2 mo. Those meds were not sent to pharmacy to be filled and no one would call me back or believe me since he had left my chart on open even the poor nurse couldn't loo... read more

I had a referral sent a month ago, confirmed with his office. I have called every Monday since & no one answered, had to leave a message, never returned my calls. How can you get an appointment if no one returns your calls or schedules an appointment. Apparently, they don’t know the pain of Transgeminal Neuralga.
