I came to Dr. Gupta for a torn bicep that needed surgery. If you are about to go through it, heads up, it's a more complicated surgery with a lot of PT, something I wasn't expecting. Long story short, it's been 3 months and everything is great. I can't recommend Dr. Gupta and his staff any higher. Overall great experience.
I visited Dr. Salil Gupta at his office at the Orthopedic Institute in Rego Park, NY. Within just a few minutes he correctly diagnosed my condition (my previous doctor couldn't do it for more than a year.) We set up a treatment plan, an just a couple of weeks later my problems are 90% resolved. I can't thank Dr. Gupta enough for giving me back my hand functionality. Excellent experience! Would recommend Dr. Salil Gupta to all my family and friends.
I definitely recommend Dr. Gupta! I had a cyst that left me unable to move my dominant hand, and thanks to his care, I’ve fully recovered. He took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything clearly. The office staff is also very friendly and welcoming.
Do not visit this doctor! Incredibly sloppy and terrible bedside manner. When he drew my blood, he stabbed my hand multiple times because he was so shaky and blood dripped all over my body and the floor. He then proceeded to do the same with my other hand. That same instability persisted when he provided treatment. I still have pain from his treatment vs. previous visits with another doctor, and during the office visit with him, I felt extreme pain, shakiness, and absolute lack of care or precision.
