Called to schedule an appointment for my daughter. She has a growth in her nose that is rapidly growing. It is disrupting her breathing and very concerning. I was told that Dr. Puri left instructions for all Wellcare patients (Medicaid) to be seen by his PA. CEENTA accepts Wellcare, but this doctor doesn't adhere to this policy. So much for the Hippocratic oath.
I had visited several specialists, in search of answers for an invasive, disfiguring, MRSA infection that I feared was spreading. I was very anxious about visiting another doctor who wouldn't/couldn't help. Dr. Puri was the first, and only doctor (of four visited) to readily inspect my Emergency Room MRI scans before I begged; and even *before* my appointment! I waited quite a bit to see Puri. Then the tech numbed my nose since I went there due to allergies and Puri never looked inside. Hopefully they won't charge me for a procedure they never did. He also had no ideas or suggestions on how to help me with my condition. Horrible wish I could get my co-pay back.
Does not know how to diagnose and never even calls in a prescription after several days. Stay away. The entire appt took 5 minutes and he gave me an already printed out form about silent reflux that I could have found on the internet.
Dr. Puri is an excellent doctor. I will be recommending him to my family and friends for ear-related issues. Saw Dr. Puri due to ear pain and temporary hearing loss because my ear was stopped up. After an exam and diagnosing an ear infection as the cause of my symptoms, he suctioned my ear and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic. Had minor surgery for deviated septum. Excellent and Dr. and staff! I would high recommend Dr. Puri. I experienced no pain at all after the procedure. Took pain meds modestly.
Excellent doctor. Thorough and effecient. This was my second opinion after a general doctor diagnosed an ear infection and gave me antibiotics that did not work. He explained my ear condition and answered all of my questions. Very pleased. So glad I did not go back to a general doctor.
