Initially, I was really skeptical about Dr. Ahmad based on an insurance change. However, I immediately liked Dr. Ahmad and found her level of care and attention to my needs refreshingly professional. The office staff has improved lately, now that more staff has arrived. I find Dr. Ahmad's level of expertise and professionalism top tier...and that's saying a lot as I'd been with my previous physician for over 25 years.
This doctor doesn't listen and rushes you through everything and doesn't seem to want to try to go through your health charts and figure out a problem that has been ongoing and I had to switch PCP and she was closest to home but refuses to really take me seriously. I felt very offend at every appointment I had about 6 appointments. 3 of them were cancled because the doctor was sick or couldn't be there for the appointment and one time they didn't even call me before I left work to tell me the appointment was cancelled. Very caring doctor and great staff!
Dr. Ahmad has been very impactful in maintaining my health. When she became my primary care doctor, I was impressed by the thoroughness of the introductory check-up. Later, the aggressive medical approach she took to diagnose a concerning cough and shortness of breath ultimately proved to be life saving. We went through a process with specialists that she brought onto the case, that resulted in a series of tests including EKG, and a CT scan that discovered a nodule on my lower right lung.
