Dr, Upendram is a wonderful Dr. knowledgeable and patient care is top notch. I would recommend him for any cardiology problems.
He takes time to explain everything to you and isn't rushed
My mother is 92 and has a pacemaker put in by this doctor. She visited him today and the doctor mentioned high calcium levels, CANCER!!!!, and thyroid. However, he did not provide her with any paperwork to give to her primary or any follow up recommendations. How do you say the word cancer to anyone and just blow it off? When I go to my doctor, when I leave the print out what my BP was, my pulse rate, my weight and what we discussed! What medications were called in, and what I'm supposed to do next!! I'm 58! Dr Upendram and staff went beyond and saved my life. I had a massive heart attack five years ago and most physicians would have stopped working on me but his refusal to quit is why I am still here today!
I have had many cardiologists over the years in many cities. Dr Upendram is tied with one of my past doctors (in Nashville) for #1. A pleasure to work with!
I've been a patient of Dr. Upendram's for 2 1/2 years. One reviewer mentioned a long 'wait', but you'll find that anywhere when all patients want their questions answered, which he did. He was thorough, addressed my concerns, and was very compassionate, even offering me a Kleenex when he noticed I had 'teared up'. He also communicated with me during my procedure to make me more comfortable. The office staff was also courteous, helpful, and professional. *Highly recommend* by CKO from Englewood
He is considered one of the best doctors in the area. Not just by his patients but also by other doctors. I would highly recommend him, he is brilliant, compassionate, thorough and he listens.
Excellent doctor. sometimes he is tied up at the hospital saving patients .Retirees like me can wait for longtime to see a good doctor.
