Dr. Eftekhar has otherwise really good reviews so I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I had 3 sessions with her and had quite a negative experience overall. She was at least 15 minutes late to each telemedicine call and had not read through the notes from my previous provider prior to intake. She was highly reactive with sensitive areas of my medical history and put me on the defensive immediately. If you are looking for a trauma-informed provider I would look elsewhere.

Terrible psychiatrist. Called 911 on me when I wasn’t at risk of hurting myself and wasted a bunch of time. Wasn’t a good listener either.
