Did not talk with me prior to ordering expensive tests. When he finally came to the treatment room didn't listen to me, had incorrect details, didn't even do an exam until I forced one. Relied on an unnecessary CT scan and had his conclusion before walking in the door. He was the same with my father so it's clearly how he prefers to work. It's not patient centered at all.
Just went to emergency and doctor Manea took excellent and competent care of me for 6 hours on Saturday/Sunday night June 17th/18th. Does not understand his low ratings I can compare with UCLA, Providence and French hospitals since I am French and teated there as well.
My wife was seen by this MD last night for chest pain and had work-up to rule out MI. Preliminary EKG and two serial Troponins were negative. Dr said she HAD to be admitted for either a stress test or angiogram. I asked on what basis, protocol or algorhythm and he said "There is no protocol but if you go home you might drop dead in the parking lot."
