This is a review as a past patient, dealing with life-long discomfort and pain due to Dr Niku. I won’t get into detail as to what surgeries he performed on me, but the first surgery he performed was late 2008 I believe, and the second one was early 2009. I was a young teen at the time and didn’t know about doing my own research or getting second and third opinions, but if I can go back in time I would never have had surgery with this doctor. Anybody else reading this, steer clear away and go get other opinions. This guy mess... read more
I called to get help for one of my elderly clients because we are in the hospital and they needed her urologist information. Alma I hope you feel good about how rude and the fact you didn’t try to help me figure this out. Why do you work there if you don’t like your job! You were so rude and I was so nice to you I explained the situation and you made no effort to help figure what doctor my client had to be seen by. 8:00 4 . 2 02 Dr. S D. Niku, MD Post Anyone who has passed kidney stones hear me! Horrible doctor. Nice staff. Had urogram/CT scan with contrast performed on 8/21. Saw Dr Niku on 9/22 to review findings of 15+ more kidney stones present in my body. Dr. Niku had me stand unsupported near the patient's table-where his laptop and notebook were laying, and he then performed a rough prostate exam. His mask contributed to my lack of comprehension of his exam, and our language barrier didn't help either. I was then promptly escorte... read more
Dr. Niku and all his staff were absolutely wonderful. They really advocated to make sure I was taken care of as early as possible. Everyone on that team made sure this tough procedure was stress free as possible. They all followed up and made sure I was doing okay. Even with the most uncomfortable procedure Dr. Niku was respectful, professional, and courteous. Reception and the nurses were so kind, warm, and supportive. Awesome team!
