I am extremely nervous around doctors, but I have actually been able to stick with my treatment with Dr. O'Connell. He seems like he just "gets it." I actually get the help I need, he listens very well. The star of the office though is the receptionist Tricia. She is so helpful and always puts a smile on my face, even when I'm going through it. "Just breathe."

As someone who has struggled with my mental health for a while now, I cannot recommend Dr. O’Connell enough. I’ve had random meds just thrown at me at other places, nothing ever worked. I didn’t think I’d ever come out of the dark place I was in. I feel he really listens, is very compassionate and knowledgeable. I feel I can trust him and like my mental health is in good hands.

Dr. O’Connell (referred by Dr.Gupta) helped me through a very difficult time. I can say I am mentally and emotionally in a better place thanks to them and their great care. He truly listens and not only that respects my decisions on which medications I do or don’t want to take and works with me. The office receptionist is an absolute doll. She always greats me with a smile and leaves friendly appointment reminders.

I am not a patient of dr oconnell, but I have to deal with his unqualified, unprofessional, rude, mean receptionist even seeing a different dr in the practice. I would never recommend this office for the receptionist alone. She degraded me, talked down to me, tried firing me herself and ignored me when I stood right in front of her to check in. Idc how good of a dr she would work for, I would never go there because of her. I can guarantee I'm not the first person that has complained about her.
