In 2000 Dr Russell Bourne saved my arm from being chopped off. Although I still have problem with my arm I am very grateful it's still attached thank you Dr Bourne.
Dr Bourne placed a screw in my left foot in 2011 when I was 16 years old. At the end of last year I fell over and broke my toe and was referred back to him to review. He is extremely kind and made me feel so comfortable. He listened attentively and ensured I was understanding what the medical imaging was indicating and what his thoughts were. A very late review, since I last saw dr Bourne in 2008! However, playing round with my Taylor spatial frame souvenir reminded me of his excellent work. Despite sustaining a double compound fracture and being told I wouldn't be able to play touch or squash again by the original treating surgeon, dr Bourne got me back to near perfect condition. Ten months of treatment and I've now had 15 years of squash, touch, running, cycling and hiking. Highly recommend this surgeon.
I was back @ work on my feet all day 3 months post knee replacement surgery. 2+ years post surgery and I am fully agile scrambling over rocks, down into Undara Lava Tubes. Thanks so much Dr Russell for your excellent work.
