If I could give 0 stars I would. I was a new patient transferred in from a different state. He came in the room with a disgusting dirty mask on. Looked at me for 30 seconds and then said because he hadn’t received my old chart from my previous rheumatologist, that we would be done here, as though I was making it all up?? This doctor let me down in a huge way! I'd been trying to tell him for a long time that I didn't think my medication was working well enough. He gave me zero options and basically gaslit me into still taking it. The only reason I stuck with him as long as I did is due to a shortage of rheumatologists in this area. On my last appointment I actually had a meltdown and tried to express to him that I was having serious issues with my hands and wrists. Absolutely the worst medical experience I’ve had. I arrived early for my appointment and still waited over an hour to be seen. The office was messy and felt unsanitary. The floor was dirty. Staff were wearing AirPods, FaceTiming, and laughing loudly like they were at a social gathering — not a medical office. Some were dressed unprofessionally, even wearing decorative headbands, and yelled across the room to call patients.
