This man looked at the acne on my face for about 2 minutes, asked me how old I was and wrote me some prescriptions. When I emailed him a month later that I was concerned about side effects from the pills, he claimed the pills were not causing my dry skin but that this is a 'new' medical issue that will require another appointment. Clearly this quack is more interested in milking me and my insurance for as much as possible instead of treating my skin problems.
Very disappointed in my visit. Went in for possible fungal nail infection. Looked at me for 2 minutes, said 'that's not it' and walked out. Literally was in the room 3 minutes. Billed me for almost $250. Got my insurance WRONG on the bill. This was not a comprehensive visit but is seems medicare was billed that way. Will be contacting medicare about it if this cannot be resolved. Also made an appointment with the skin care practitioner which required a deposit just for a consult. Dr. Ronald Rovner did a great job doing my surgery and he answered to all the questions I had in an understandable way. Thank you for your professional work. I truly recommend him to everyone who needs dermatological help.
Dr. Rovner was kind, courteous, and quick— which I sincerely appreciate. He is smart, and was able to easily assuage my feelings of anxiety surrounding my issues. I only needed to see him once, but I’ll be keeping his name in mind if I need to visit the derm again.
He seemed uninterested in looking at me for skin cancer. ( I’ve had in past) as a new patient he should have been extremely thorough- he didn’t look at my scalp, ties, feet, etc. I had to purposely show him things but he was very much NOT INTERESTED. I would/ could not recommend him to anyone
